Annotation The article describes the experience of creating a center of ongoing pedagogical education of young pedagogues of St. Petersburg. The relevance of the idea of creating the Center is justified by the importance of preserving young professionals in the pedagogical profession, providing conditions for comfortable and flexible support of beginning pedagogues, focusing on the variable range of their needs, interests and opportunities. The methodological basis of the study was the ideas of the subject, system, activity approaches. In the framework of the research, a system analysis was used, including a theoretical study of philosophical, managerial, psychological and pedagogical literature on the research problem, design method, survey research methods (interviews, questionnaires); classification and interpretation of the data. The results of the research allowed to substantiate the conceptual and substantive-technological foundations of the model of integrating young pedagogues into the profession, substantiate the activities of the center of ongoing pedagogical education, highlight the effective principles of the Center, determine the best ways for the center to interact with consumers and determine the main directions of the Center, based on the professional and educational needs of young specialists. The research attempted to reveal the key characteristics of the young pedagogue, the specifics of integration into the profession, special aspects of assistance to young professionals as part of the activities a center of ongoing pedagogical education. A regional model has been developed for integrating young teachers into the profession, which allows them to retain the beginning specialist in the profession, to create conditions for its successful adaptation and preservation in the teaching profession.
