Annotation The article presents the rationale for approaches to the design of diagnostics, aimed at identifying the experience of visiting museums of modern senior preschoolers. The materials present problems and contradictions in the design of this tool. The need to develop diagnostic materials in this perspective (definition of directions, variants, tasks, criteria of evaluation of results, portrait of characteristics of achievements of children) is dictated by small study of the problem in modern scientific and methodical sources, formalization in the practice of the kindergarten. Competent diagnosis (its results) is the basis for the formulation of educational objectives and selection of appropriate content for modern preschoolers (methodical direction); a tool for the study of children’s subculture and phenomenon of visiting experience museums of modern preschoolers (cultural direction), development of interesting forms of work with the audience in the museum (Museum-methodical direction). The article substantiates the tasks, variants of diagnostic tasks (observation, conversation, projective techniques, tests), allowing to identify cognitive, value, practical and “creative” aspects of children’s experience. On the basis of experimental data features of “experience of visit of the museum” of modern preschool children in the light of their manifestations of the subject of activity are described.
Key words museum pedagogy, pedagogical diagnostics, features of the experience of visiting museums of preschoolers, methods to identify the experience of visiting the museum and manifestation of the subject of activity in pre-school age
