Annotation The authors of the article reveal the possibilities of using Internet technologies in the process of professional development of a future teacher. The article actualizes scientific ideas, the emergence of which is currently due to the increasing challenges to educational systems at the macro and micro levels (globalization, informatization, integration of knowledge, etc.). The article examines the problem of optimizing the educational process of professional training of future teachers at the university and the prospects for its development based on the use of Internet technologies in objective conditions challenges of modernity. The purpose of the work is to generalize, present the experience and prospects of using Internet technologies in the development of general pedagogical and subject-methodical disciplines by students in modern conditions. To achieve it, such research methods as analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison, systematization, observation, and survey were used. The methodological basis of the research consists of competence-based, integrative, system-activity, personality-oriented approaches. In the framework of an empirical study, the target, content, organizational and activity components of the educational process are analyzed, the students’ opinion on the organization of distance learning and the use of Internet technologies in the system of teacher training is revealed. The study was attended by students of various full-time courses of FSBEI HE Transbaikal State University and FSBEI HE Dorzhi Bazarov Buryat State University. The novelty of the research is justified by the expediency of balanced use of Internet technologies in the new educational reality of the university, based on the principles of intercultural cooperation and access to open educational resources, acceptance of current challenges of modernity and the need to design a strategy for the development of a system of professional and pedagogical training. The authors pay attention to the widespread use of mixed (hybrid) teaching methods in pedagogical practice, a point-rating system for assessing the quality of knowledge among students in the context of digitalization of higher education, the importance of using Internet technologies to enhance their cognitive activity, as well as the need to educate the information culture of the student’s personality as part of a spiritual and moral culture when working with any kind of information. Based on the results obtained, the authors conclude that the use of Internet technologies determines the transition to a qualitatively new level of training for future teachers, their professional and personal development.
