Annotation The relevance of the study is due to the need to transform teaching practices under the conditions of digital education environment. The article deals with the features of formation of digital culture of college students as subjects of activity in a context of the concept of digital innovations. The methodological basis of the research has been formed by means of the subject-active approach to the study of digital culture of college students as subjects of professional formation. Theoretical basis of the research is the concept of mastering professional activities as a process of problem solving, the theory of self-moderation, as the formation of digital culture of the subject is associated with communication in a social network in the presence of a certain competence, allowing the autonomous accomplishment of tasks. To achieve the goal, the following theoretical methods of research have been used: analysis, generalization, extrapolation; empirical methods: questionnaires aimed at revealing students’ knowledge about digital culture; analysis of peculiarities of forms of project training implementation within the framework of gamification concept. The analysis of the influence of digital technologies on the content of the college students’ training is given. It is proved that the development of an average professional in the Industrial 4.0 paradigm implies the inclusion of robotics, big data, modeling, additive technologies, industrial Internet of things, augmented reality, cloud computing, etc. in the content of education. Conclusions. Integration of digital technologies into all aspects of the educational sphere requires serious changes in the content, methods, forms, means of education; into the culture as a world of senses of the subjects of educational activity; into the principles of creation of innovative sites on the basis of educational organizations of SPT; in the structure of the educational process. It was concluded that the development of digital culture of the students of the College of Culture can become the technological and value foundation of professional education.
