Annotation This article discusses the features of subjectivation as a component of the linguistic composition in terms of graphic text marking and analyzes the specific character of the given phenomenon in Makanin’s works At First Breath and Fright. Subjectivation is the most important aspect in the study of the language composition. The analysis of graphic text marking (graphic and punctuation means) shows that italicized words and sentences prevail in the texts under consideration. Graphic marking of subjectivation phenomena helps the reader to understand the texts better. The author points out that traditional narration techniques change and a new process in the development of speech communication takes place, i. e. one can speak about modifying the language composition.
Key words linguistic composition, subjectivation, graphical marking, verbal series, author’s image, narrator’s image.
