Annotation This article reveals the problem of influence of the structure and character’s system of the fairy-tale on novel’s poetics. This problem is quite well studied on the materials of the Russian literature by V. V. Ivanov. In article the problem of above-mentioned influence on the French literature is revealed. For the first time the influence of the fairy-tale’s poetics on Alain-Fournier’novel “The Big Meaulnes” (1914) is studied. The author reveals the resemblance of many elements of the seven-particle structure of fairy-tale with elements of the composition of Alain-Fournier’ novel. The author also indicates the resemblance of the functions of fairy-tale’s characters and the actions of characters of the novel “The Big Meaulnes”. This article analyses the difference of the genres of novel and fairy-tale, caused by author’s will and by the novel’s reality of the beginning of the XX century. The author makes the conclusion about the author’s free perception of fairy-tale’s poetics, and indicates the folklore mediated influence on the novel “The Big Meaulnes” through the others genres. For example, the genre of chivalrous novel is formed with the influence of the fairy-tale and the influence of the fairy-tale on the Alain-Fournier’s novel is mediated and goes through the chivalrous novel. The author reveals the accordance of novel characters: the teacher Seurel, Augustin Meaulnes, Franz de Galais, Gipsy Ganach, François Seurel and Ivonne de Galais with six characters of the fairy-tale. The psychological state of Big Meaulnes is taken for the seventh character of the fairy-tale, named “false hero”. The author describes the accordance of the beginning of the novel “The Big Meaulnes” and “the beginning situation” of the fairy-tale, and the accordance of some episodes and carnival atmosphere of holiday in Sablonier castle and the “another word” of the fairy-tale.
