Annotation The article is devoted to one of the complex problems of modern education, especially the primary one, the problem of upbringing the primary schoolchildren’s value attitude to knowledge, educational and creative activity. The analysis of nowadays approaches to the problem is carried out. An attempt has been made to determine the place of the value attitude to education in the structure of the experience of educational and cognitive activity in primary school. The article contains a description of the complex for diagnose value attitude to studying in accordance with its three-component structure. The description of the qualitative characteristics of the various levels of the value attitude is shown. The researching results in different years are described. The problem points in the process of education of the value attitude to the studying process and possible causes of difficulties in achieving the goals of this direction of the educational process are shown. The necessity of a systematic approach to the problem at the stage of primary education is proved. The authors consider the problem as a key problem of upbringing process in primary school.
