Annotation One of the most important strategic directions of the modernization of Russian education is the introduction of educational technologies into the educational process, focused on the development of a wide range of competencies and creative abilities, future teachers, an active, initiative position of the individual in the learning process. The article provides a rationale for the significance of the introduction of project technology in the process of preparing future teachers enrolled in the direction of training 44.03.01 Pedagogical education on the basis of Transbaikal State University in studying the discipline “Pedagogy” in order to shape the creative activity of future teachers. Based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical scientific sources, the author’s definition of the “creative activity of the future teacher” is introduced. The article describes the use of active forms of training future teachers, with the aim of increasing the level of knowledge in the field of project activities, socio-communicative and organizational skills, as well as the development of the ability to reflect. Upon completion of the study of the discipline “Pedagogy”, future teachers were asked to go through the process of protecting the developed and implemented project (individual or group), reflecting the results of their independent work. The results of research work, obtained using statistical methods of pedagogical research, are presented at the control stage of revealing the level of knowledge of future teachers in the field of project activities show that the number of bachelors with a creative level of knowledge has increased (from 0 % to 28 %), we also state, a decrease in the number of bachelors with a reproductive level of knowledge (from 73.7 % to 42.5 %).
