Annotation In this article, the author conducts a comparative analysis of the socio-cultural survey of the students in the USA (Mountain West), Russia (Moscow, Chita, Voronezh), and Moldova (Chisinau) taken in 2004–2009, and gives a pedagogical interpretation of the data obtained. The research has been done with the support of the Russian World Foundation.
