Annotation The article is aimed at revealing the effectiveness of using the pedagogical potential of Ethnopedagogy for the use of information technologies in the digital educational environment in the region. The leading approach to the study of this problem is the analysis of the theoretical positions of foreign and Russian researchers on the issues of updating education in the information educational framework. The purpose of the research is to study the formation of information training of students in the conditions of digital education implementation in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). As a part of the research topic, a pedagogical experiment was conducted at the North-Eastern Federal University named after M. K. Ammosov. The initial provisions of the educational potential of Ethnopedagogy in the educational activities have been studied. The experimental work was attended by more than 250 students of the Pedagogical Institute and the Road faculty as well as teachers who provide educational process in various disciplines using modern educational technologies. As a result of scientific research, the levels of students’ information readiness based on the frequency of indicators’ demonstration and meaningful representation of its features as situational and sustainable-active, taking into account the pedagogical potential of Sakha Ethnopedagogy were identified. The results obtained on the information training of students can be used by master’s students, postgraduates and teachers in research on digital education implementation in higher education institutions and schools.
