Annotation The reform processes of the modern education system have determined the society’s request for a teacher of a new formation, high morality and culture, capable of understanding and accepting another, who has innovative thinking. One of the most important strategic directions of modernization of Russian education is the introduction of modern pedagogical technologies in the educational process, focused on the development of a wide range of competencies of future teachers, the individual’s initiative in the learning process. The purpose of the article is to justify the pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional self-determination of future teachers. The authors of the article presented the pedagogical conditions for the organization of educational activities at the university (project technology, quest technology), pedagogical practice and taking into account the subjective positions of students, contributing to the formation of professional self-determination of future teachers studying in the field of training 03.03.05 “Pedagogical education (with two training profiles)” on the basis of the Transbaikal State University in the study of the discipline “Pedagogy”. He results of the research work obtained using statistical methods of pedagogical research are presented.
