We present a review on monograph “Innovative approaches in teaching native Russian” by L. V. Cherepanova.
It informs the reader that in the monograph L. V. Cherepanova presents the author’s view on solving one of the most
urgent problems of modern methods of teaching the Russian language – what and how to teach students in modern
conditions and what and how to prepare teachers for. The review notes that the author of the monograph Larisa
Vitalyevna Cherepanova makes a deep analysis of the methodological and theoretical literature on this issue. The
advantage of the work studied, according to the reviewer, is the fact that the monograph’s author presents a holistic
system of techniques, methods and technologies in teaching Russian in line with innovative approaches.
