Annotation The process of modernization of higher education is targeted at ensuring high quality of academic activity in a higher education institution. Assessment of the students’ satisfaction with learning is one of the significant indicators of the quality of the education process. In this context, we have carried out a questionnaire of USPU students for the purpose of actualizing their ideas about the organization of academic activity. 71 students took part in the experiment. The respondents were asked to answer a number of questions in which they were to rate a certain component of academic activity on a five-point scale. It turned out that the majority of students were satisfied with the quality of educational services in the process of learning. Prevalence of the positive assessment of the level of learning satisfaction is observed in various forms of learning: classroom sessions, pedagogical practice, and scientific research activity (this is rather important for the system of higher education). Nevertheless, the authors have come across some negative aspects, which were quite episodic but needed further investigation in order to prevent the emergence of similar situations in the future. The study has revealed a number of issues for further consideration about: the prevailing character of the questions in the questionnaire, purpose of questionnaires and interviews, quality of the feedback itself, efficiency of the data obtained in the future activity of the university, etc.
Key words higher education, organization of educational activities. quality of education, feedback, satisfaction with the quality of educational services
